Summer Holiday Reading Program – again this year the high school students organised a reading program for the elementary school children. This program is very important as it keep the children focused and engaged on education over the long hot summer holidays.
Senior High School Graduates. A couple of year ago the government introduced an option for graduating high school students to stay on at school for 2 more year as part of their Senior High School program. Four (4) of the SHS students graduated this year with Loyalty Awards. Angelica Sualog (2011), Carla Orapa (2011), Ethel Menguito (2011), Mariel Canieta (2011). As you can see all of these students started with Cararoo back in 2011 in elementary school and will now look at attending college. Congratulations and we wish you all every success.
Manila 10’s International Rugby Festival was on again this year 24/25 March. Our favorite team SCC Growlers from Singapore again included the Cararoo kids as their good luck charm by bringing gifts of clothes from Singapore, funding all the cost for the 2 days. This included items like transport, insurance, food, drinks etc. As usual the kids had a great couple of days and would like to thank the SCC Growlers for all the help and support they give Cararoo.
