This followed a privately funded annual feeding program which commenced in 1998, feeding over 2000 Informal Settlers living in the Merville Paranaque area. The Foundation’s key focus is now on COMMUNITY BASED EDUCATION.

With over 100 less fortunate children registered and attending government elementary, high school and college the Cararoo Foundation together with Rotary Community Corp. has implemented the following funded program:

July Floods

Its that time of the year again when rain and floods disrupt the squatter village. This year was no exception with water in the (storm water)  creek rising over 3 meters flooding homes and our squatter canteen and learning center. As seen in these photographs the mothers bailing out the water from the canteen and saving what ever they can. We will raise funds and repair the canteen for water damage and wait until the next time. Say a prayer for our Cararoo families.
